CIS - Chemical Information System

The CIS database contains data for over 170 commonly
used chemicals, including:

• ¹H and ¹³C NMR, IR, UV & mass spectra
• ¹H NMR and IR correlation tables
• structural (2D and rotatable 3D) information
• safety and hazard information
• compound physical data
• a periodic table with element data

CIS features include:

• a search facility by functional group or physical property
• compound data may be directly compared
• trends in physical properties may be plotted for compounds
• trends in physical properties may be plotted for elements
• all spectral & structural data can be printed or copied to the clipboard
• all screens may be viewed simultaneously
• a Tutors Manuals with sample worksheets and activities

Unit 1 - The Core Principles of Chemistry
