Claire and Richard both share a great love of the American composer and lyricist Irving Berlin, widely considered to be one of the greatest songwriters of all time. This brand new show, with classy arrangements by Richard, premieres at the Festival and includes such classics as ‘Let’s face the Music and Dance’, ‘How deep is the Ocean’, ‘What’ll I do?’, and ‘Cheek to Cheek’, all delivered with the style and panache that you would expect from these two great friends and world-class jazz artists.
As well as performing, Sir Richard will be exhibiting his collages and judging a composition competition at the University during the Festival.
