The School consists of the Department of Physics and the Department of Chemistry, which also incorporates the Polymer Research Centre.

The School provides undergraduate Chemistry and Physics teaching, with courses that offer specialist modules in biomedical and environmental topics, computing/ computer modelling, European languages, education, finance and management.

At the post graduate level, we offer taught MSc courses in Chemical Research, Medical Physics and Radiation and Environmental Protection as well as doctoral training packages in topics ranging from Organic Chemistry to Nuclear Physics.
