The Atkins Prizes

Two prizes, each of £100, awarded to final-year students who are judged to have completed BEng and MEng projects contributing most to the Civil Engineering profession.

The Atkins BEng Prize: Miss Evgenia Kourtidou



R M Davies Memorial Prize

A memorial prize to the value of £30 in books, awarded to a student who has done work of special merit during the professional training period.

The Institution of Civil Engineers Prize

Awarded for the best performance by a student in the penultimate and final years of the first degree programmes.

Mr Renos Votsis



The Z S Makowski Prize

A prize of £30 awarded for the best overall performance in subjects related to structures in the final year of the first degree programmes.

Miss Susan Tallis



The W J Peck Memorial Prize

A prize, consisting of a book token for £30 awarded to a student who has displayed particular endeavour during the programme.

The Taylor Woodrow Prize

A prize of a tankard or goblet plus £200 for the best report from the professional year students awarded annually by Taylor Woodrow.



Mr Richard Totty



The Kier Prize

A prize of £100 and a tankard or goblet awarded annually by the Kier Group, to the MEng student achieving the best overall performance in management over the final two years of the degree programme.

Mr Andrew O'Donovan



The Integer Prize

A prize donated by Integar of £250 awarded to the Level 3 Civil Engineering with Computing student who has the best aggregate performance in computing modules throughout the course.


Mr Steven Ashley



The Skanska Prize

A prize of £200 plus a lasting memento awarded to the student achieving the best overall performance in the assessed parts of the MEng programme.
