The Multi-Disciplinary Design Project
The MDDP forms a major part of the final year of study for MEng students in the School of Engineering. The disciplines involved are; Civil, Chemical, Mechanical and Electrical and the group is made up of 5 students from across these disciplines. The project itself involves collaboration with industrial consultants and aims to simulate an industrial engineering context. As a group, we have been concerned with Biofuels in the UK for Power Production and Gasoline Petroleum Substitution, specifically Biodiesel. The supervisors for the duration of the project have been Prof. Jan Guidoboni, Dr Karen Kirkby, Dr Alex Henham.
