ITS is manufacturer of afterloading devices for tumor irradiation with Ir-192 and Gamma-ray projectors with Co-60, Ir-192 and Se-75 sources for film radiography.

SST is active in the field of filmless materials testung with gamma- and x-rays. Products include:

GAMMASCOPE radioscopic real time inspection system with image converter tube, video camera and digital image processor.

GAMMASCAN
computerized tomographic systems for materials testing.

GAMMAFRAME
high resolution image processing system for HDTV signals in real time.

Design and engineering of complete inspection systems for radioscopic and/or computerized tomographic systems, including manipulator for the samples or robot system, x-ray cabinet and remote process control.

With this experience in x- and gamma-ray inspection SAUERWEIN SYSTEM-TECHNIK GMBH contributes to the project. Its task is the radioscopic inspection of the samples, which have been manufactured for the project at ambient temperatures and demonstration of the defect detectability. For the investigation of preheated components a cooled version of the image detector must be developed to prevent damages of the entrance screen of the image converter tube. Finally it must be demonstrated, that the inspection of the preheated samples gives the same result as at ambient temperatures and that the results meet the requirements of the radioscopic standards.
