The Worshipful Company of Engineers in their Cadzow Smith Engineering Awards for 2004 has judged University of Surrey student Suzanne Johnson worthy of the medal for the best engineering student. We are very pleased that Suzanne has been successful in this competition which is open to students of all branches of engineering.

Suzanne, a former president of the Chemical Engineering Society and leading university Jujitsu exponent graduated with the MEng degree in chemical engineering with Distinction in June 2004. She received her medal at a Livery Company Dinner hosted by the Worshipful Company of Engineers in the City of London and attended by the Duke of Kent, Chancellor of the University of Surrey.
