How professional training works

• Placements last one academic year, or variations e.g. 2 shorter placements (minimum 46 weeks total)

• Students receive 3 visits by an academic tutor (or 2 visits plus one day return to the University)

• Defined learning and assessment outcomes, including enquiry-led projects and written reports

• Workplace supervision and assessment by employer

• May be included in degree award
